Fat Smash- End of Phase #1
Well, it has been 8 days since I started doing Phase 1. I have been sick for 6 of those days with something, been taking antibiotics for 4 of those and have been lounging around trying to recoup for almost all of them!
Only strayed off he plan in the following ways. Otherwise was on track 100%...no meats or white carbs at all.
1) Had a little low sodium soy sauce with my rice and stir-fry vegetables
2) Enjoyed a tablespoon of brown sugar on my oatmeal when I ran out of bananas
For the eight days I was in Phase 1.....I am happy to report....I lost 4.8 lbs and 7.25 inches overall!! My plateau is broken! Woohoo...that's 27.8 lbs and 32.5 inches total gone from my body! That's sooo close to my next goal...only 2.2 lbs to go!
So today starts Phase 2. I started eating meat again, just finished chicken for dinner actually. Didn't think I would miss chicken so much! I definitely learned that I am not cut out to be a vegetarian. While I enjoy eating beans and vegetables I couldn't do it 100% of the time.
I am thinking of trying to limit my meat proteins to one meal a day during Phase 2. And I am going to start adding granola to my yogurt and switching between cereal and oatmeal for breakfasts. Gotta try it for a week and see how I do. This week will be busy with close, but I am pumped to start exercising next week to keep the momentum of losing continue.
