30 Day Shred-Week 1 Update
Well it has been a week since I first put The 30 Day Shred into my DVD player. Granted the program is supposed to be done daily for optimum results, but after the first 2 days in a row, I could barely walk so I decided I was going to try it every other day with some cardio mixed it to speed the weight loss. It's getting warmer out so walks around our neighborhood will start up again. It's nice to have it be just over a mile for one lap around our circle! Maybe I will get to do it daily, but for now it's every other day.
Here is how week 1 progressed:
*Note L1D1 represents Level 1, Day 1 of the 30 DAY SHRED. Each level should be done for 10 days before moving to the next level. I plan to track measurements at each level to see what's shrinking!
Wednesday-L1D1 SHRED (miserable the next day, could barely walk...outter thighs were burning)
Thursday-L1D2 SHRED (didn't ache while doing the DVD, but legs ached worse the next day)
Friday-REST
Saturday-LANDSCAPING & WEEDING (my thighs were killing me the next day from squatting so much)
Sunday-MORE LANDSCAPING
Monday-REST
Tuesday-L1D3 SHRED (legs were still tight from landscaping but somehow felt better after SHREDDING)
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS: 3.2 lbs
So I basically had some extra physical activity most of the week and am happy with my loss for the week. Hope week 2 is just as pleasing!
