In the battle of Mendie vs. Reese......Reese won
So Easter is done and gone, but a few lbs have stuck around because of all the sugary/carb heavy foods I have enjoyed over the holiday weekend.
Some of these treats include:
Saturday: Hardees burger and fries and some white mini Reese cups and strawberry shortcake roll (sorry honey I took one from your box)
Sunday: Rolls, Sweet potato casserole, Reese eggs, cadbury egg, Onion Rings before the show, and some more white mini Reese cups
Monday: foot long tuna sub, Reese egg oh and some more white mini Reese cups
Why I ask myself did I stray from just 2 Easter treats? Especially since I initially planned on letting myself enjoy "not watching or counting" what I was eating for one day and one day only! That day ended up being three days, and I realize now that if I don't stop, I will begin to gain back more of the 32 lbs I have already lost! That's 6 months of work down the drain! And don't get me wrong, those Reese gifts from the chocolate/peanut butter gods are excellent, but the feeling of losing weight is so much more rewarding!
So I am putting it in writing....I am back to eating 1100-1200 calories starting today. No ifs ands or buts about it! I'm am re-focused on my next goal of losing 50 lbs by 4th of July. The treats were tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed them, but I'm not strong enough yet to reintroduce them back into my pantry to use as an on needed basis!!!
